How scoring works. Each question is graded on its own by Claude Haiku against a rubric, at temperature 0 — so two students who gave the same answer to a question always get the same score. Scoring is 0 / 0.5 / 1 per question with a short rationale, saved to the Google Sheet. "Score new submissions" grades only submissions that have no AI score yet. "Re-score everything" re-grades every submission with the current grader — use it once to replace the older, inconsistent scores. Hover any cell in the roster to see Claude's reasoning.
