What to fill in, and when

Five sheets and the dashboard. Same order every match day. Work through them in this order and you'll never be scrambling at the end.

One rule above all: the second the match ends, the score goes into the dashboard. Score first, paperwork second — always.
1 Prediction Sheet Before the match

Write down how many goals you think you'll score, and why. The "why" has to point at a stat or a formula — that's what makes it a prediction instead of a guess.

  • Your predicted goals.
  • Which formula or stat you used to get that number.

Do this before the bots move. A prediction written after the match isn't a prediction.

2 Live Event Log During the match

One person on your team keeps this while the match runs. Write what happens as it happens — you will not remember it afterwards.

  • Goals, and roughly when they happened.
  • Anything that goes wrong: bot slows down, gets stuck, drifts off line.
  • Times matter. "Slowed around 90 seconds" is worth far more later than "slowed down."

3 Post-Match Update Sheet — page 1 only Right after

Page 1 only. Leave the rest blank unless your facilitator says otherwise.

This is where you compare what you predicted to what actually happened, and write down the difference. That difference is your error, and it's the whole point — it tells you which stat to look at next.

4 Match Data Log After

Your team's running record across every match. One row per match, so you can look back over the season and spot a pattern instead of guessing from memory.

Keep it up to date — when you get to reallocating your stats in Season 2 (Day 11), this is the evidence you argue from. In Season 1 your stats stay locked; only your predictions change.

5 Rule Log Whenever a call happens

Write down any rule call or decision at the moment it's made — what happened, and what was decided.

This is your evidence. If you want to dispute a result, you get a 30-second window after the match, and you need the rule log or your scouting report to back you up. No evidence, no dispute — and once those 30 seconds pass, the result is locked.

6 · Put the match in the dashboard

This is the one that counts toward the leaderboard. Do the score straight away, then finish the fields.

  1. Check the Week field first. It has to say the week you're actually in. A row left on Week 1 shows up dimmed and does not count toward standings. This is the most common mistake.
  2. Scroll down to Match Log and find the row that says "Add your match result below."
  3. Pick your Prediction source first. Goals For and Goals Against stay locked until you do — that's not a bug.
  4. Fill in the rest of the row: Round, Day, Opponent, Predicted goals, Goals For, Goals Against.
  5. Write the note — "What happened?" It must name a stat, a time, or something you actually saw. Not the score.
  6. Say what you're testing next round. One line.
  7. Click "+ Log match."
  8. Click Save, and don't leave the tab until you see Saved ✓ at the top.

Here's one filled in. The Iron Raptors predicted 3 goals off their Endurance formula, scored 2, let in 3, and lost:

What happened?Bot slowed at 90 sec — Endurance = 4 may be too low. Opponent's Turning kept them in the center.
Next round?Test: score before the 2-min slowdown
Error+1 — filled in for you
W / LL — filled in for you

Notice the note doesn't say the score — the score is already in the row. It names a stat (Endurance = 4) and a time (90 sec), which is what makes it useful in three weeks when you're deciding what to change.

"We lost" is not a note. The test: could you read your note in a week and know which stat to change? If not, write it again.
✗  "We lost."  ·  "Good game."  ·  "Bot got stuck."
✓  "Bot slowed near the 2-minute mark — Endurance = 4, maybe too low. Their Turning kept them in the center."
